Thanks Bert, your wise words are providing an invaluable steer for me...

On the crossover topic, is any filtering applied to the mid/treble element. I know there is a filter for the bass section and I'm wondering if the mid/treble is 'full-range', being allowed to fall away naturally at the low end?
