Onken response (BD-Design)
Hi Russell,
I have been wondering about pairing them with a Fostex driver, either in
some kind of box, or on an open baffle. I also had a crazy idea about
using some Mangers, but thay are way too expensive - if I could spend that
kind of money I'd be buying BD3s ;)
They perform well up to at least 500Hz so a Fostex would be a good idea. You could use the FE103E in an open baffle on top of the Onken, the sensitivity is close and a simple filter set to 350Hz should work out okay.
Mating them with a Fostex FE207E (or even an FE206E) will work well while reducing the sensitivity of both with an L-Pad).
Ciao,
Bert
