My 'full' Orelo DIY attempt (Orelo/Orelino)
Hi all,
This is my first post on this forum, but I've been following for a while, especially regarding the Orelo projects.
I've had the chance to listen to the Orelo at Bert's, and decided to have a go at building a pair of these.
It's been a couple of weeks now, I sure did underestimate the time it takes to build one of these, and today I finally got to perform the first tests
I still have to put the back panels on, veneer this first Orelo and obviously the mid-high Oris horn is still missing, but the first test was successful.
I haven’t been able to measure anything so far, but based on the sound quality they should measure just fine.
Very nice and deep bass response while very clean and well controlled
I’m looking forward to building the second one and fine-tune everything in combination with the Oris horns.
As I can only work on them during the weekend it will probably take a few more weeks, but it’s certainly worth.

Thanks a lot Bert for the design and all the help you’ve provided.
Best regards,
Diederik
