Celestion AXI2050 (BD-Design)

Hi Wilson,

I'm still enjoying my Orphians, just fantastic. Curious, have you looked into the new Celestion AXI2050 compression driver? No crossover 300-22k Hz. I'm thinking about trying them out but they are $1k USD each wow.

I have seen it passing by... it is an interesting driver but to get it flat down to 300Hz without filter you'll need a bigger horn! Like my extended Oris 150...

These play down to below 180Hz (with BMS 4592's) but still with crossover.

I do not think that your Orphean horns and the Celestion will play flat in balance up to 22kHz. You'll need some sort of correction which means a crossover...
