Oris 150 Driver Parameters (BD-Design)

Hey Rudy,

Been looking at various full range drivers for my Oris 150 horns and I was wondering what you recommend as the optimal T/S parameters for a driver in your horns?

Optimal? Qts around 0.3 for normal use which will be the most dynamic and most clean/controlled plus probably better extention into the high frequencies.

Q's higher will start to give a boost in the lower midrange which can be cured within the passive srossover extending the lower frequencies range as a bonus.

Qts' above 0.5 - 0,6 is not advised, these are more suitable for normal use without a horn.

All depends also a bit on how you use the rear chamber which can be left completely open or closed.

Just look for the best driver to your taste and budget and you can make them "fit" into the Oris 150's.
