Tweeter for Oris 150 anybody?

Any Bert follower added a Heil tweeter to the Oris 150. I use the AudioNirvana 8 neodiniums, (AERs fell to bits). The Medium Heil is 2000Hz to 30,000Hz. Amp? Crossover frequency 6000Hz? Thanks.

Crossover frequency minimal 6.000Hz to avoid crossing in the midrange and the dispersion at 6.000hz is still reasonable comparable for a 8" driver with to the Heil tweeter...

I use Fostex t900a bullet tweeters above Oris 150 horns. I use a DEQX DSP for line level crossover, speaker correction, room correction, etc. The rig is tri amplified with the crossover to the super tweeter at 8kHz with roll off slopes of 100dB per octave.

Thanks for the Xover freq. Don. I found one more tweeter that I think will mate well.. Dayton Audio AMT Mini-8 Air Motion Transformer Tweeter, 8 Ohm. for only 30$! If they don't match, I can chuck them. It's IMPOSSIBLE to recreate a true concert hall 'sound' at home. Last week I listened to the Vienna Phil playing Mahler 9, where the LIVE, ABSOLUTE sound from the 'highs' of the strings, brass and winds was.. edgy, harsh, rough, very LOUD and so piercing.. definitely not the SMOOTH top that hifi afficiandos seek.. thus I see no point in trying to get the room, speakers etc 'right'. For the price of those electronics one can get so many more recordings on Decca, RCA, Mercury of Operas, Symphonies etc. to enjoy the music as recordings and/or get good seats at the Vienna Opera and Concert Halls for years.
