... the tricky part. How to finish eh? :dntknw:

Here some virtual idea's in red... great but I am sure there are more options to explore as well.

Decisions, decisions... :pardon:

It is a relative small design as well...

The top horn axis sits at 1,06m (feet included).

And still performing excellent with ultra low distortion (>18Hz) with ultra high efficiency...

Perhaps V6 Xtreme is not a complementing name, perhaps it should be my SIGMA?

Mahogany and black...

Are there 12" drivers...:secret:

Regards,

Gasper.

Yes indeed, 12" bass drivers are used...

...in this design but a 15" version is in the pipe-line as well.

Modern looks...?

Would MastOris be a nice name?
I sure like the colour, allthough the complete design is somehow not completely in balance imho...
Maybe the backside can be less pronounced by painting it matt black.
Then the hornshape would be better profiled with the chosen red colour.

But what the heck, the sound is most important!

Modern looks...?

Would MastOris be a nice name?

Perhaps... I'll need a lot more idea's for names and have those remembered. The one that sticks the most will then be in favor.

I sure like the color, although the complete design is somehow not completely in balance imho...

It is too much for me as well. Too distracting while the dark red one is much less present and therefore more appealing to me. Perhaps age has to do something with it... youth and old people usually disagree about many things.

You should see it from different angles as well, now it looks a bit too compact while it is definitely not.

But what the heck, the sound is most important!

Looks are very important as well... it should look stunning and then completed with stunning sound! Just good looks will not last long...

So, how does it sound? Better than the Swing?

Not an April Fools Joke?

No yoke...

by Bert @, Sunday, April 05, 2015, 06:18 (3271 days ago) @ Kevin

...and not proven idea about the sound either but that won't be long. I am pretty confident that it will sound a lot better than the Swing.

Having the Orelo and Orelino experience at hand.

Bert, I think they look great. I would love to hear a pair. Please remind me of the width of the Orphean horn.

56 cm (22") in diameter.. (nt)
