...the same thing with a good stereo set and a similar good recording of nature.

This basically boring "double" picture is a so called Crossed-Eye picture and should be viewed like that to be able to see more information than you might have expected...
I am happy to see that 3D becomes common these days and that viewing such pictures will become easy...

...otherwise would have made it ON topic with a relation to the BD30mkII's.
I just got the capacitors delivered so it will take another week at least to be able to report back sharing useful information. Think of burning in the caps...
