Hemp Acoustics FR6.5C (BD-Design)

Hello all,
I have a pair of Hemp Acoustics FR6.5C drive units and I am interested in building Singulars. I know I should use the FR8 but is it possible to scale down to suit the 6.5's?

Scaling down does not give the optimal results as all dimensiona are related... you could try though but I can't guarantee anything.

Thanks Bert, If I build the Singulars full size but use the FR6.5C's until I get 8" drivers (so far uncertain what though)might it sound ok or too compromised?

I do not think it will sound compromised, it will do better than scaling down the Singulars. Never tried it myself though so please report back...

Thank you Bert, I am using the drivers in a simple ported David Dicks (Lowther USA) design which can sound a bit boomy. I will start building the singulars soon and let you know how I get on.
