Panel differences - Singular (BD-Design)

Hi Bert,

Just a quick question on the Singular. Is it okay to have differing baffle thickness for the outside panels vs. the internal ones? I mean, I would stick to the recommended thickness of 18mm for the chamber, resonator part, bottom bracing, then slightly thicker for the outside panels. Of course, I would have to adjust for the outer dimension lengths stated in the plans (ie, baffle height, driver center to outer top panel)

The reason for using different thickness is the 18mm material we have here is not dense (voids) or high quality if I were to use them for outside panels too. The good quality ones are only available in 24-25mm. Thanks.

Best,
Fred

Hi Fred,

Just a quick question on the Singular.

And a late answer as result....

Is it okay to have differing baffle thickness for the outside panels vs. the internal ones?

As long as the internal dimensions remain the same than it doesn't matter.

Ciao,

Bert
