Hi Bert,
I not mentioned B&W model: it is B&W Matrix 801.
Also, AER diaphragm with PM6C magnet expected position: it is MK1, MD1, MD2, MD3 ?
Best regards,
Audrius

Hi Audrius,
I am close to place an order for Oris 200 horns. My idea is to use it with
B&W bass section. Do you think it is correct idea ?
If you like what the B&W's do in the bass then this should not be a problem at all.
For horn section I have Lowther PM6C. It is not the best ...
Its better than a Fostex in terms of dynamics and presence!
If I wish to use PM6C magnet with AER diaphragm, what quality level I can
expect for your indicated price 1079 EUR ?
Compared to the Lowther diaphragm you'll get:
- real and fresh sounding high frequency extension
- clean natural sounding mid- and high frequencies (no "paper" sound)
- much less "own" sound bringing up more detail and transparancy
Ciao,
Bert

Hi Audrius,

Ah, the big one. With this bass unit I would suggest the Oris 150 with its lower crossover frequency... I think the bass is too "slow" to work optimal in the 200-400Hz range.
Also, AER diaphragm with PM6C magnet expected position: it is MK1, MD1,
MD2, MD3 ?
I would position the hybrid AER at the AER MK1 position.
Ciao,
Bert
