Can Someone explain the Math on this to me ? (BD-Design)

Here are the Specifications of a Crown 1502 Digital Amplifier. I see the Amp has 300 watts into 8 Ohms for 2 Channel... The Bridged Specs are for 1050 Watts into 8 Ohms. Can someone explain the Math on this to me? -- Thanks.
