another option would be to have an extra bass enclosure with a dedicated woofer where one 18" will do more than okay (with own high powered amp with multiple EQ options) to add some weigth to the music.

This was olso one of the possibilities but it has great WAF and won't be cheap considering quality of the amp, driver,...
