Can you share more about the new digital filter?
Sure! It will be a device with filter pre-sets for all BD-Design speaker systems having a high- and low voltage input. This way the bass can be connected as usual i.e. signal tapped from the horns - high input or from a pre-amp - low input.
The digital EQ is done with the help of a PC and in-room measurements giving the option to get deeper and flat bass (or whatever setting you prefer) at the listening postion including phase corrections for optimal integration with the horns. Several own settings can be saved into the device as pre-sets also...
The device can only be used to optimise the bass performance though, the signal going to the horns will or should not be affected in any way.
Price tag will be close to 850 Euro (excluding VAT) but includes all hard- and software needed.
